Availability of the IT Service Point and the IT Service Hotline at the turn of the year
The IT Service Point and the IT Service Hotline will be on Christmas break from December 23, 2024, through January 6, 2025.
During this period, you can still reach us through the customer portal at urz.ovgu.de/ticket or by email at it-service@ovgu.de
The URZ’s public area will also remain closed during this time.
On December 20, 2024, the IT Service Point and the IT Service Hotline will be available only until 2:30 p.m.
VPN switch: New Access via eduVPN starting September 2, 2024
The previous VPN access via Cisco AnyConnect (vpn.ovgu.de) and openconnect (adit.ovgu.de) will no longer be supported and will be discontinued as of December 12, 2024.
New Sieve folder in Cyrus mailboxes
If a folder named #sieve appears in your mailbox, please do not delete it.
Changes on central firewall
From April 22, 2024, enhanced functionalities will be activated on the central firewall as part of the establishment of further security mechanisms.
If you have problems accessing external services (i.e. on the internet), please contact the IT service by email.
No action is required on the part of users.
