Setting up a Cyrus mailbox under Outlook for macOS (new version)
- Now set the settings as follows:
- Email Address: Your OVGU mail address, which you received with your OVGU-Account.
- IMAP Username: The username from your OVGU-Account. The username is not your OVGU Email address!
- IMAP Password: The password from your OVGU-Account.
- IMAP Incoming Server: cyrus.ovgu.de, Port: 993
- SMTP Username: The username from your OVGU-Account. The username is not your OVGU Email address!
- SMTP Password: The password from your OVGU-Account.
- SMTP Outgoing Server: mail.ovgu.de, Port: 465
- Click on Add Account when you are finished.
